Paddock20

Terms of use

Updated November 6, 2026

These terms cover Paddock20 Sign, the service Paddock20 runs for companies that send agreements for signature. By using it you agree to them.

Who these terms are with

The company that holds an account (the customer) and Paddock20. Staff who sign in use the account on the customer's behalf. People who receive a signing link (signers) are covered by the e-signature consent and the privacy page.

What the service does

It prepares an agreement from a PDF, sends signers a link, confirms each signer with a one-time code, records each step, and produces a signed PDF with a certificate of completion. The customer decides what to send and to whom.

Using it responsibly

Send only documents you have the right to send, to people who expect them. Do not use the service to deceive, harass, or send material that is unlawful. Do not try to get around the limits, the send hold, or another customer's data.

Your content

Documents, names and email addresses you add stay yours. You allow Paddock20 to store and process them to run the service for you, and to show them to the signers you choose.

How signed copies are sealed

Signed PDFs are sealed so a later change shows in a PDF reader, and a timestamp service records the time. Until a certificate from an Adobe-approved authority is added, the seal is self-issued, so a PDF reader may call the signer unknown. That label is about who issued the seal, not about whether the document changed.

Legal effect of signatures

Paddock20 is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Whether a particular document can be signed electronically depends on the document and where the parties are. Check with your own advisor for anything unusual.

Fees

Fees are agreed with the customer before use and billed per completed agreement or per staff seat, as set out in the customer's plan. A new account has its email sending switched off until Paddock20 turns it on.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running and publish its state on the status page, but we do not promise it will never be interrupted. We may change or retire features with reasonable notice to customers.

Ending the relationship

A customer can stop at any time. Signed copies and certificates already issued stay valid. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Paddock20 is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its total liability for a claim is limited to the fees the customer paid for the service in the three months before the claim.
